Developed by the Swedish company Mediroyal, the NRX® has achieved significant international success, bridging the gap between kinesio-tape and orthotics by combining all their advantages and eliminating their less favorable characteristics. Like kinesio-tape, the NRX® is flexible and can be customized by the therapist to the patient and their complaints. However, it is much more cost-effective, as the patient can wear it long-term, even for months, without the need for the therapist to reapply it every few days. Unlike kinesio-tape, it provides much more stable and stronger support for injured limbs/joints and/or effectively corrects various joint deformities, similar to orthotics.

In contrast to traditional, ready-made orthotics available in medical supply stores, the therapist can create the application in minutes, customized to the patient and their complaints. This makes it not only more comfortable and effective but also much more affordable. It can be used to treat almost any musculoskeletal complaint affecting the lower or upper limbs. It not only stabilizes, relieves, and/or corrects the affected joint, but also provides mechanical protection, improves proprioception, helps with pain relief and inflammation reduction, and aids in relaxing the muscles and fascial elements. The custom-made NRX®, which can be prepared in moments and used long-term for months, is as effective in everyday life as it is during sports activities.
