During the therapy, the patient actively participates and performs simple, active exercises. The therapist corrects only when the joint to be corrected is “in motion”, the muscles around the joint are actively working. On the part of the patient, the active correction exercises are performed continuously in a specified number of repetitions, while the therapist continuously and gradually administers the strength of the manually administered correction pressure. The correction is continuous until the end of the exercise number. Each joint correction is followed by a local examination, with the help of which the therapist determines how successful the first correction was and whether further treatment is needed in the given area.
